Valvoline Oils approached VML to execute a fun social media campaign in time for the upcoming NASCAR series. We landed on the idea of the "DIY Prize", where DIY-ers could tweet to Valvoline what they want and why. Through random drawings each day, with max prizes of several thousand dollars (full pro-mechanic hydraulic tools), these DIY-ers helped them help themselves. The campaign was hugely successful and increased Valvoline's overall engagement across Twitter and Facebook.
